Learn to Race
Learn to Race is a three session program that provides cyclists with an introduction to racing and teaches the basics of competition on a road bike. Mass start events as well as individual events are covered. Riders are taught sprinting, pack handling skills, echelons, team tactics, bumping wheels, energy conservation, and other skills. The importance of a training log, "off bike training", race preparation and proper bike fit are taught in this clinic. Learn to Race requires that riders are competent cyclists and have graduated from the Learn to Ride program or have approval from the Program Director.

All participants must be current Maple Leaf Cycling Club members and have completed a Par-Q.
Ages for some activities are limited to minimum of 13 years of age.
Please check with program director for more information.
