Speed Training
Tuesday night interval training is for advanced riders who race or are looking for that extra kick in their workout. Each session is composed of various drills which mimic real race scenarios. It is advised to begin this program early in the year as it becomes progressively harder throughout the season. You will be pushing yourself to the limit, each time moving that limit. In this program you will increase your response time, sharpen you handling skills, shorten your recovery time and properly develop your energy systems. Speed training requires that riders are competent cyclists, have completed their base miles and have graduated from the Learn to Race program or have approval from the Program Director. This training is based on the regional racing schedule.

All participants must be current Maple Leaf Cycling Club members and have completed a Par-Q.
Ages for some activities are limited to minimum of 13 years of age.
Please check with program director for more information.
